All the teams make it across the finish line after a 12-1/2 hour journey and 100 miles across Scotland.

Run through the woods… jump in your canoe and you are off. And don’t forget to paddle like crazy towards the castle!

Everyone seems ready. A chance for teams who have fallen behind to catch up and move ahead in the standings. All they have to do is handle their canoe, manage the one rapid and paddle like crazy downstream. Let the best team win.

Teams get a chance at some real speed during the buggy race. It looks like only one team had to walk back after doing something they shouldn’t have… Oh Canada?

So here’s the deal. We all start together and ride up this mountain. If I don’t run into a goat, crash against the jagged rocks, lose my buddies, hurl off the side of a cliff or crush a tree we get to move onto the next stage. Where’s that dude’s bike?

Teams exhaust themselves paddling to the finish for the best time. What they don’t know… is the finish line is on top of the hill. Get out, climb the wet hill with your raft, then your finished.

Grab your helmets and off to the river. It’s easy floating downstream, but when challenged with paddling back up for points… not as easy. And what if you just outright break your paddle, then what?

Teams make it back down the mountain and roll across the finish line. Great job to everyone who made the run.

Stage two. Climb a huge mountain, then repel… then run (not fall) all the way back down to your gallery of fans. We cheered because you made it back alive.

The majestic Eilean Donan Castle is the backdrop to the start of the second leg of the Drambuie Pursuit… the bike/mountain climb.
